Pol and Meo is a cartoon series that drops “2D Toons” into a photorealistic environment. In a “real” sprawling modern house surrounded by a large park, our “2D Toons” animals take advantage of the human family’s absence to live life their own way.
There’s always something to do: inventing a game, trying out an activity, testing an object, helping out a critter… The series also bounces along with the lively friendship between Pol, the laid-back octopus, and Meo, the hyperactive cat—not to mention the troubles stirred up by their friends the owl, the croc, the dogs, the mice, the canary…
Each episode is a chance to have fun with some aspect of everyday life (a setting, an object) which, while ordinary for us, is a goldmine of adventure for these Toons and their childlike perspective.
