On a tropical island, the 78 episodes of the series depict the unlikely friendship between a little girl and an alien. Over the course of their adventures, Fatou—carefree, playful, and only rarely a pest—and Roger—the clumsy alien, only rarely pontificating—set off small mishaps that sometimes snowball into big disasters, which (almost) always end on a cheerful note. In short, Roger and Fatou spend their time saving the island from their own blunders and clumsiness…
Oh, and there are also their friends: a shark that can’t swim, dim-witted seagulls, an orangutan doctor, a cultured chimpanzee, a touchy turtle, a shy whale, and more…
