Angelo dreams of being an adventurer and zoologist. On the way with his family to visit his beloved, ailing grandma, his parents accidentally leave him behind at a highway rest stop and drive off without him. Abandoned, Angelo decides to cut straight through the forest to find them again. But he soon ventures deep into this dark, mysterious land teeming with strange creatures…
